LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Alpha Delta Pi was founded as the first secret society for women in 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia. It has a rich tradition that others strive to emulate, but have never been able to duplicate. We, the sisters of the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, founded in 1915, support our organization's four values of Self, Scholarship, Sisterhood and Sorority within our own home as well as on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. The women in this chapter strive to always commemorate their responsibility to do their best in whatever they undertake while always remembering that leadership requires confidence tempered with humility and courage blended with tolerance, as stated in The Creed of Alpha Delta Pi penned by retiring Grand President Caralee Strock Stanard in 1948.
Our home located at 1645 R Street is filled with campus and community leaders, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and so much more. It is more than just a house - it is a home away from home where we share the best days, the worst days, and everything in between. Our open motto, “We Live For Each Other’, is truly expressed and valued in our every day lives. Our chapter is filled with passionate, driven, confident women who continuously strive to cultivate a sisterhood like no other.
We hope that you enjoy an insight to our sisterhood, the amazing women that create it, and why we truly are the “First, Finest, Forever"
through our website.
May you all find the happiness, love, loyalty and sisterhood that we have found here in Alpha Delta Pi.
Loyally,
Kate Reyome
